American Aquarium

American Aquarium at Wave - KS

American Aquarium performs at WAVE on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM, delivering country music that refuses to look away from life's hardest moments. BJ Barham's songwriting draws from years spent navigating small towns, dive bars, and the spaces where people carry quiet heartbreak. The band channels that experience into songs about addiction, redemption, economic struggle, and the search for meaning when the deck feels stacked against you.

WAVE offers an intimate setting where every note lands with intention. This Wichita venue creates space for personal connection between performer and audience, giving you a reason to bring someone who cares about these songs too. You could hear stories that feel lived-in rather than manufactured, the kind of honesty that transforms a performance into a reckoning. The all-ages format opens the door for audiences across generations.

David Wimbish opens the night, building a natural pairing with his own songwriting sensibility. The two acts create an evening where vulnerability and craft intersect, where every line feels purposeful. This concert brings together artists who refuse easy answers and audiences drawn to music that tells the truth.
