Danielle Nicole at The Cotillion

When a Kansas City bassist channels heartbreak and hope into song, you get something far beyond typical blues. Danielle Nicole arrives at The Cotillion in Wichita on Friday, November 27, 2026 at 7:30 PM with her album The Love You Bleed, twelve tracks exploring love, loss, and perseverance. This Grammy-nominated artist digs into the nitty gritty, as blues legend Koko Taylor put it, delivering soul that grows more believable with every passing year.

The album, produced by Tony Braunagel and mixed by John Porter, features Nicole on bass guitar and vocals alongside Brandon Miller on electric, acoustic, pedal steel, mandolin, and 12-string guitar; Damon Parker on keyboards; Go-Go Ray on drums; and Stevie Blacke on violin and cello. Tracks like Make Love push past pain to choose community in difficult moments, while How Did We Get to Goodbye documents a soured love with no heroes or villains.

Nicole's previous albums Wolf Den and Cry No More topped Billboard Blues charts and earned Grammy recognition, but this new material marks a shift. Vintage R&B collides with driving blues, flirty feelings turn to overpowering need, and the determination never to let the one walk away surfaces in concerts that refuse to gloss over messy human connection. Bring a fellow music fan along for the evening. Find Danielle Nicole ticket options at The Cotillion in Wichita.
