John Caparulo

John Caparulo at The Loony Bin Comedy Club - Wichita

Some comics dance around the truth. John Caparulo kicks it in the teeth. The Cleveland-bred comedian carved his reputation with dry, no-nonsense sensibility and what he calls a brilliant affinity for cuss words, landing over 150 appearances as a panelist on Chelsea Lately where his rapid-fire wit became appointment viewing. He comes to Loony Bin Comedy Club in Wichita on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

Cap's live comedy thrives on verbal combat with reality. After honing his delivery at the legendary Comedy Store and breaking out at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2003, he turned raw observation into specials like Meet Cap and Come Inside Me. His Midwestern deadpan cuts through pretense, whether dissecting fatherhood or demolishing everyday absurdity.

This is not a careful performer protecting an image. Cap's tour appearances on Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy and Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation proved his range alongside comedy heavyweights, while national Late Late Show and Tonight Show spots captured the sharp-edged honesty fueling his standup. He now headlines Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club during the week, touring weekends with relentless energy.

The 2-year Vegas residency sharpened his crowd work into a precision instrument. Bring a friend who appreciates Caparulo's comic perspective. Find ticket options for his Wichita comedy-club appearance.
