Mama He’s Crazy: The Words & Music of The Judds at The Forum Theatre - KS
Mama, He's Crazy: The Words & Music of The Judds brings the story of Naomi and Wynonna to The Forum Theatre on Friday, March 19, 2027 at 8:00 PM. This theatrical tribute celebrates the mother-daughter duo who earned 14 No. 1 singles and sold over 20 million records, starting with their breakout hit that gives the production its name. What began on a Kentucky mountaintop became country music history.
The Judds blended Appalachian folk, bluegrass, and pop into a sound that appealed to audiences of all ages. Wynonna's powerful, blues-inflected voice established the pair as one of country's finest duets, earning five GRAMMY awards and eight CMA trophies across a seven-year recording career. This live entertainment honors that legacy, inviting you to revisit the journey from rural Kentucky to Nashville stardom.
Their 1991 farewell tour drew the largest Pay-per-View audience of all time for a concert. The production captures the emotion embedded in the music that defined an era, from the early harmonies learned on a Kentucky mountaintop to the moment Naomi retired for health reasons and the duo split.
