Mama He’s Crazy: The Words & Music of The Judds

Mama He’s Crazy: The Words & Music of The Judds at The Forum Theatre - KS

Naomi and Wynonna couldn't talk to each other, but they could sing together, and that contradiction built country music history. This theatrical tribute brings their catalog to life on March 20, 2027, at 8:00 PM at The Forum Theatre in Wichita, celebrating the partnership that earned five GRAMMY awards, eight CMA honors, and sold over 20 million records. The show traces the journey from rural Kentucky beginnings to Nashville stardom.

The Judds released six RCA albums and racked up 14 No. 1 singles starting with the breakout hit Mama, He's Crazy. Wynonna's powerful, blues-inflected voice blended with Appalachian folk, bluegrass, and pop influences to create a sound that appealed across generations. This concerts production captures seven years of musical achievement that redefined what a female duo could accomplish in country music.

Their 1991 farewell tour ended with a televised performance that drew the largest Pay-per-View audience of all time. Naomi retired for health reasons after the duo had established themselves as one of country's finest female duets. The tribute honors a legacy built on songs about family, heartbreak, and resilience, performed with unpolished honesty that connected deeply with audiences.
