Wichita Symphony Orchestra: Daniel Hege - Annie Get Your Gun In Concert
Wichita Symphony Orchestra: Daniel Hege - Annie Get Your Gun In Concert at Century II Concert Hall At Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center
Wichita Symphony Orchestra: Daniel Hege - Annie Get Your Gun In Concert comes to Century II Concert Hall in Wichita on February 7, 2027 at 3:00 PM.
This collaboration blends orchestral power with theatrical performance, presenting Berlin's Broadway classic through live musicians and voices working together to bring the story and score to life.
The narrative follows spirited sharpshooter Annie Oakley as she meets her match in star marksman Frank Butler when Buffalo Bill's Wild West show arrives. Berlin's score carries the emotional arc, from humor to romance, performed in a concert format that strips away elaborate staging to spotlight the music itself. You could experience the compositions as the orchestra and performers deliver each note live.
Two premier Wichita arts organizations joining forces creates a musical event that honors both disciplines. The concert adaptation lets Berlin's melodies and lyrics shine, supported by symphonic instrumentation that brings depth and richness to every moment. The interplay between orchestra and theatrical voices gives you the chance to hear how the singers and orchestra respond to one another.
The Wichita Symphony Orchestra and Music Theatre Wichita collaborate on this presentation. Reserve tickets for this orchestral concert on February 7.
