Annie
Annie at The Forum Theatre - KS
The Forum Theatre challenges the assumption that this seven-time Tony Award-winning musical belongs only to children. Annie arrives in Wichita on Sunday, December 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM with storytelling polished specifically for adult audiences, revealing layers of hope and resilience beneath the familiar optimism. The live theatre production invites you to rethink everything you thought you knew about this holiday classic.
December brings Annie's escape into the wondrous world of New York City at the perfect moment for holiday reflection. Watch her foil the cruel Miss Hannigan, befriend President Roosevelt and turn every obstacle into possibility through one adventure after another. The musical comedy wraps determination and heart into a seasonal experience that balances humor with emotional depth.
Annie's quest to find her parents becomes a story about love, family and belonging that resonates differently when you're no longer the child in the audience. The Forum Theatre delivers Christmas magic built from pluck and genuine feeling, proving that timeless stories about making dreams come true grow richer with every telling.
