Annie at The Forum Theatre - KS
The Forum Theatre presents Annie on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 8:00 PM with storytelling polished specifically for adults. This seven-time Tony Award-winning musical comedy challenges every assumption that this tale of pluck and positivity belongs only to children. The production turns December into a celebration of hope through timeless themes of love and making dreams come true.
Annie's determination to find her parents drives one adventure after another as she escapes into the wondrous world of New York City. She foils the cruel Miss Hannigan, befriends President Roosevelt and charms everyone in between. The live theatre format creates immediacy that belongs only to this particular performance in Wichita, shaped by the cast and audience in the room.
Christmas magic works best when it surprises you, and this production delivers exactly that through musical comedy that balances humor with genuine emotional depth. The chemistry between performers and audience creates moments of connection that prove some stories grow richer with every telling, stealing hearts across generations.
Annie's journey from orphanage to adventure becomes your journey.
