Annie

Annie at The Forum Theatre - KS

The seven-time Tony Award-winning musical Annie arrives at The Forum Theatre on Saturday, December 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM, and this production aims to challenge the notion that the show belongs only to children. The Forum presents storytelling polished for grown-up audiences while keeping the charm of Depression-era New York, where a determined orphan escapes into adventure, outsmarts Miss Hannigan, and encounters President Roosevelt along the way.

Watching performers transform the stage into 1930s Manhattan creates a different energy than any recording can deliver. The emotional weight of hope against impossible odds takes on deeper meaning as you watch Annie's determination tested on stage, with voices and movement filling the space between actors and audience. The Forum bills this as Christmas magic that lets adults rediscover why this musical swept the Tonys decades ago.

The December 19 performance falls within the final week of the run, offering Wichita audiences a chance to catch the show before it closes. Live theatre brings a shared energy that transforms familiar stories into immediate experiences.

This is theatre that reminds you why falling in love with a story matters, why believing in tomorrow isn't just sentiment but survival. Make Annie's New York adventure part of your holiday theatre plans. Find Annie ticket options for Dec 19, 2026 at The Forum Theatre.
